Our April luncheon was hosted by Kathi Williams at the Greene House in Kierland Commons.

The Greene House is full of quaint California beach style and charm to reflect the California Inspired menu. Great seasonal dishes that are fresh yet refined like the Roasted Sea Bass and Spinach Pappardelle. Complement the rich flavors of your meal with a signature cocktail, a glass of an exclusive Wine Country vineyard selection, or a cold beer from a carefully curated beer list. A wonderful place to take a break from shopping inside the cozy bungalow or on the outdoor patio.

Daytripper1 group toured the Amazon Fulfillment Center in Goodyear on April 25th.  The industrial engineering and technology employed at the site was fascinating.  We also learned about employee benefits and site work processes from our tour guide.  

The tour lasts about an hour with no opportunity to sit down and includes a couple stairs. You sign up on the Fulfillment Center web site.  New tours are opened up every few weeks but not on any schedule, so you have to keep checking and you need to have names and emails for everyone in your group when you sign up.  Well worth the effort tho.  Highly recommend.

The Ethnic Dining group enjoys an evening with live flamenco dancing and Spanish cuisine at Tapas Papas Frita restaurant in Scottsdale.

The Day Tripper 7 ladies enjoyed a beautiful spring day touring The Lavender Farm @ Chateau de Via. This beautiful historic mansion is located in Chandler. Following the tour, they enjoyed lunch at Postinos in Tempe.

Our first outing was for brunch at LATHA in Heritage Square. The weather was perfect, food was delicious, upbeat music and handcrafted cocktails. A wonderful afternoon.  Latha, Swahili for flavor, celebrates the interconnected journey of the foodways and culture of Africa, the Caribbean, Brazil, and the Southern US.
